Holiday Mini Sessions!! {Minnesota Photographer}

Well I’ve decided to try something new this year…..Fall Mini Sessions! I am almost booked for 2010 so this will be a great way to allow time for those clients who need some updated images for holiday cards, or gifts for family members etc. but don’t need the 30+ images and 2 hour full session.

I know many of you have expressed an interest in digital negatives, so I have included those with these sessions, with print release! (with this you can print as many copies as you want of each image, perfect for gifts for the holidays!)

The location is awesome, it’s an overgrown field with a perfect out building…… I can’t wait to shoot there!! You will recieve directions upon booking your spot.

Be sure to check out the Look Here tab at the top of this page, I have added more gorgeous holiday cards, with a few more yet to be posted.

I had the pleasure of meeting this family the last time I was back in Fargo. These two little guys are so handsome, they weren’t so sure about the whole picture thing, asking me if we were done after I took the first picture! (which I thought was so cute) But we played a few games and got some great shots…we even ended at the park so it wasn’t so bad…right guys?!? ;) Here are some of my favorites…..

I met Shamra my freshman year at Concordia and we lived together our Sophmore year. She is such an incredible person, she is so funny and absolutely gorgeous inside and out! Her and her husband Ryan have created one of the most stunning families I have ever seen! This lucky photographer got to capture their awesomeness one evening in Minneapolis and it was so much fun! Some of my favorite images ever….check them out…..

Greyson {Child Photographer Rochester, MN}

It felt like we had been trying to schedule a session with little Greyson since he was born! At first the timing/scheduling didn’t work out, and then the weather was against us….so when Mother’s Day came around and it was sunny and warm we were finally able to meet! I thought it was a great way to spend the afternoon. To top it off his grandma came along, who is his nanny, so I was able to catch some of their beautiful connection as well. Here they are together in a sweater that she made for him…so cute!!

They chose this one for a 24×30 standout….I love that this is hanging BIG in their home! I was just thinking of posting something about that, and then today I came across this from another photographer friend of mine on facebook, and it explains what I was going to say in a much better way than I could, and even has photos to illustrate!! Please take the time to look it over if you are in the market for photographic prints, either from me or someone else. I’m currently saving up and planning for my big collage and will post pics here when I have it all up!

It was such a pleasure, can’t wait to see you again Greyson!

Sorry Katie, you probably thought I forgot to blog your session…well I didn’t totally forget…but yes I should have posted this a long time ago! I am not the best at keeping up with blogging, and was just trying to clean up my computer a bit and there you were!! We had a fun afternoon together in Stillwater for their shoot. It was so fun to see Katie and her family, she is one of my good friends from Concordia who I don’t see nearly enough!! Here are some of my favorites from their session….

Who’s ready for spring?? All the snow we got today is pretty and all, but I can’t help but think how good the green grass looks and how awesome it would be to be able to sleep with the windows open tonight!!

I donated this session for a silent auction that was held for a mom in my home town, who at the age of 27 was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer. What a pleasant surprise that the ones that ’won’ the session and I went to Concordia together and actually lived on the same floor our freshman year!

Thank you Killoran Family!! It was great to see you both again!

Don’t the green trees look extra pretty now that we are covered in snow? That’s what I was thinking as I was posting these images. That, and how much I enjoy this “job”… it’s hard to even call it a job because I love it so much. I get to meet families like this one, they had a great sense of humor about the way our session ended. Apparently we weren’t supposed to stop where we did on the side of the road. You guys were so great and it was truly a pleasure meeting you and taking your photos!
