I was very honored when Nicky asked me to photograph her family at this exciting time in their lives. Dad had just recently returned home from a deployment, and they had just adopted this beautiful little girl! They came all the way from Virginia to introduce the new addition to family members here in MN. Nicky is a photographer herself, so I was very flattered that she chose me, and it was fun to talk shop during our outing! Here is a sample from their first photo session together as a family!
I think it is so adorable how she twirls her hair….
It’s hard to say, but I think this is my favorite from their session.
